Joséphine is a place full of charm. Ideal for couples in a vintage mood, it welcomes you in at any time. The menu of this cozy corner at Barcelona’s Eixample offers a simple but elaborated Mediterranean cuisine, to be enjoyed with live jazz music and some of the best cocktails in town. We recommend: burrata with non-alcohol bloody Mary and black olive soil, and lamb confit cooked at low temperature with its sauce reduction and rosemary. .

Is there anything more romantic than Catalan modernism? You already know we are very keen on Gaudí at Hostemplo, so restaurant China Crown had to be on our list.
In the heart of the Eixample, the restaurant is located in a beautiful modernist building from Gaudí with ornaments from the end of the 19th century. This renovated restaurant now offers imperial cuisine, a mix of culinary revolution and tradition. To capture the essence of the Empire and serve what the Great Emperors used to eat more than 400 years ago. The menu covers all the flavors of Chinese imperial cuisine. All the regions that once formed the Empire are reflected in the menu of the new restaurant of Casa Calvet.

3. LA DENTELLIÈRE RESTAURANT:
If you’d rather go for something lighter but still glamorous, we recommend you La Dentellière. Located in an old building in the Gothic district, the place has been renovated preserving its charm and decorated in shades of red and gold, giving the venue a romantic touch perfect for Valentine’s Day. Their cuisine, with Mediterranean roots, searches for a balance between fresh and light dishes and other more elaborated proposals.
