How to get to Hostemplo
Are you ready for your adventure in Barcelona? At Hostemplo, we want your arrival to be as easy and comfortable as possible.
All three accommodations are located just a few minutes from the Sagrada Familia and share the same access routes. Here we explain how to get there easily from the main points of the city.
Check-in information:
Check-in begins at 3 p.m. If you arrive earlier, don’t worry! You can leave your luggage in storage until your room is ready.
Hotel Boutique Hostemplo: Check-in and key collection take place at the hotel reception, located at Passatge Gaiolà, 19. The reception is open 24 hours a day.
Apart-Suites Hostemplo: Check-in and key collection also take place at the reception of the Hostemplo Boutique Hotel.
Hostemplo Sagrada Familia: Check-in and key collection take place at the reception, located at Carrer de Sicília, 276.
Aerobús + Metro (Tourist option: approximately 1 hour)
Take the Aerobús from the airport to the Plaça Universitat stop. Tickets can be purchased directly from the driver and cost around €7.50 (one way) or €13 (return).
At ‘Plaça Universitat’, connect to metro line L2 (purple) to the ‘Sagrada Familia’ stop. Metro tickets can be purchased from the ticket machines at the station. Once at the ‘Sagrada Familia’ metro station, our reception is only a 3-minute walk away.
Metro (Economical option: approximately 1 hour)
From the airport, either at the ‘Aeroport T1’ or ‘Aeroport T2’ metro stop, take line L9 Sud towards ‘Zona Universitària’ to the “Collblanc” station. There, change to line L5 (blue), towards ‘Vall d’Hebron’, and get off at the ‘Sagrada Familia’ stop.
There is a special airport ticket for around €5.70 per journey, available from ticket machines at the station.
Once at the ‘Sagrada Familia’ metro station, our reception is just a 3-minute walk away.
Taxi (Quick option: approximately 30 minutes)
Barcelona El Prat Airport has a fixed taxi rank and an extensive fleet of taxis available when you land. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around €35, depending on traffic and luggage. At weekends, it can be around €45.
Metro (Economical option: approximately 15 min)
From Barcelona-Sants, take metro line L5 (blue) towards ‘Vall d’Hebron’ and get off at the ‘Sagrada Familia’ stop (journey time approx. 10 minutes). A single metro ticket costs €2.55 and can be purchased from the ticket machines at the station. Once at the Sagrada Familia station, our reception is only a 3-minute walk away.
Taxi (approximately 20 minutes)
If you prefer greater comfort, you can take a taxi directly from the main exit of Barcelona-Sants. The journey to Hostemplo takes about 20 minutes, depending on traffic, and the cost is usually between €13 and €18.
Walking (Economical option: approx. 19 mins)
From Barcelona Nord bus station, walk straight up Carrer de Nàpols until you reach Passatge Gaiolà. The journey takes about 19 minutes on foot.
Bus V19 (Economical option: approx. 23 mins)
Walk a few minutes towards Arc de Triomf until you reach the ‘Pg. Lluís Companys – Almogàvers’ stop. Take the V19 bus and get off at ‘Pg. de Sant Joan – València’ (journey time approx. 10 minutes). From this stop, you are only a 5-minute walk from our reception.
Taxi (Quick option: approximately 10 min)
There is a taxi rank available at all times at the station exit. The journey to any of our accommodations takes about 10 minutes and costs between €6 and €9, depending on traffic.
Are you coming in your own vehicle? Once in the city, the easiest thing to do is follow the signs to the Sagrada Familia neighbourhood, where our accommodation is located.
We are building a hotel in the heart of the city next to the Sagrada Familia.
Hostemplo currently offers three types of accommodation:
Hotel ***, Hotel ** and Apart-Suites, spread across six buildings, all very close to the Sagrada Familia temple.
